1989: Honegger Modellbau founded by Rainer Honegger.
1994: Investments in our first CAD/CAM system are made to be able to digitally construct and process models and moulds.
1997: The company moves to the new residential and commercial building in Mägenwil.
1999: Rainer Honegger, acting as the coach and expert, becomes champion at the WorldSkills in Montreal together with Michael Glauser.
2001: Rainer Honegger, acting as the coach and expert, becomes champion at the WorldSkills in Seoul together with Christian Brunner.
2002: We design and build the “Speed 02” 4-man bobsled for the Salt Lake City Olympics.
2003: Rainer Honegger, acting as the coach and expert, gets silver at the WorldSkills in St. Gallen together with Philipp Hug.
2005: Honegger Modellbau makes investments for a big step into the future: the addition to the existing building is made. The production spaces get bigger, permitting even more diverse and larger projects to be implemented. The start into a successful future is also reflected in a new name:
Honegger Modellbau becomes Honegger forming.
2007: Rainer Honegger, acting as the coach and main expert, gets silver again at the WorldSkills in Japan together with Fabian Furrer.
2011: Rainer Honegger, acting as the coach and main expert, gets bronze at the WorldSkills in London together with contestant Jan Züllig.
2013: Rainer Honegger, acting as the coach and main expert, gets a sensational fifth place at the WorldSkills in Leipzig together with contestant Jan Züllig.
2015: Rainer Honegger, acting as the coach and main expert, gets bronze at the WorldSkills in Sao Paulo together with contestant Elias Siegrist.
In addition to the sole proprietorship Honegger forming, Rainer Honegger founds the Honegger forming Switzerland AG corporation so that the international projects can be supported more professionally.
2016: The new website highlights the international activities of Honegger forming Switzerland AG.
